guitar

this guitar - that became my tool of rebellion in teenage.
my friend - my lover - my waste-of-time - my connection to others.
          sometimes it became special/precious...
later it became a weapon (I felt) due to being on the road & seeing many army trucks/vehicles also - I imagined I was an alternative soldier - a soldier of peace...
after such intense times, the guitar became a distraction, occasionally.

To (when I said to members of the) chumbas 'I hung up my guitar' after a last despicable gig in Bristol with Headcore & Blyth Power (I still [did] have it on tape!).

a guitar didn't happen with me for a long long time after.
I don't even know how I happened to have one when Kismet lost a bassist & there was me with a 6 string. Eventually got the 4 string & a 'cooler' one. it became something that others were better at, and a chore for me - but at least I was in a 'punk' band.

Just tidying up & putting the 'family' of instruments away.

There is/was a definate 'warm' feeling towards them.

This machine ain't gonna kill any fascists, but our ideas & action inspired by them & the music - might......         ......bless

all I need...

on y mobile phone to god
She tells me that
the planet is gonna die
so gotta dig a big, big
hole to fill with the corpses
of all the people I ever knew
of course I',m gonna survive
cos I'm writing this stuff.
